Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. She is a middle-sister of two sisters. She was born to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the field of TV through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress performed the role of Chiara. The TV shows she guest starred in are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Recent roles include a role as a support for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). In 2008, Ghanizada became part of the cast for The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada play Doctor. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic healing. Ghanizada played Kelly, a Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage from 2009.
