While we move through the summer of 2021, there's an element of doubt regarding how Rotary can continue to facilitate the human connections that Rotary members have valued in the past. The motto "hands meet face to face" is a crucial aspect of the program, but it's clear that there's a rising confidence and a need to be face-to-face with people. However, the nature of Rotary is changing. There is no certainty about how our service to humanity is going to incorporate the highly appreciated connections between people that Rotary Members enjoyed during the prior years. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our routines, it is evident that confidence is growing as are the more direct connections. While maintaining our online meetings to conduct business, we've re-introduced the social aspect and services with a more secure face-to-face form. New possibilities have been combined with the best practices for preventing pandemics to create a new and exciting future for Rotary.
